Four speakers discussing the she-cession at the tenth annual YWHISPER Gala. The YWHISPER Gala raises funds to help support women and their families to live free from violence, find safety and economic stability, and build a brighter future.

Featuring talks with:

  • Armine Yalnizyan, economist and fellow on the future of workers, Atkinson Foundation
  • Sally Armstrong, journalist and human rights activist
  • Sheila North, director of strategic partnerships, Legacy Bowes, and former Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak Grand Chief
  • Ann Hui, author of Chop Suey Nation: The Legion Cafe and Other Stories from Canada’s Chinese Restaurants
