Do you have a news tip that you believe will be our next big story? Please include a concise overview of the issue, the consequences and stakes, and supporting documents if applicable. A news tip is more than speculation, and must offer evidence to pursue.

To send anonymous and untraceable tips, please first follow these steps:

  1. Connect your laptop to a public WiFi, like at a coffee shop.
  2. Install the Tor web browser, which allows you to access the internet without being tracked or monitored.
  3. Open Tor and return to thewalrus.ca/tips. Send your tip using the form below. (You can also use the form without Tor.) Including your name is optional. Note that if you choose not to include your email, we will not be able to respond to your tip.

If you would like to send a news tip via email, in order to correspond with an editor at The Walrus, please use [email protected]. Note that if you have not heard back from us within two weeks of submission, your tip is not being pursued.
