Liz Harmer is the author of The Amateurs, which was a 2019 finalist for the Amazon Canada First Novel Award. In 2014, she won a National Magazine Award in Personal Journalism, and in 2018, she was shortlisted for the Journey Prize. Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, she now lives in southern California with her family.
