a lot has happened in national politics in the past few months. To review: the Conservatives threatened no‐confidence votes, Chrystia Freeland stepped down from her cabinet roles with a Shakespearean flourish, and then Justin Trudeau stepped down as leader of the Liberal Party and prime minister. More recently, a trade war with our closest ally exploded, voter polls veered abruptly in new directions, and the Liberals chose a new leader. And now: a federal election.
